It snowed here this weekend...just a mere dusting of 27 inches! It started snowing around 11 a.m. on Friday and continued until about 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon and broke various records - most snow in 88 years and 4th biggest for the region in history, etc. Needless to say, we've been stuck inside since Friday...well, Nate and I were but Brandon spent most of the weekend shoveling snow with our neighbors. The plow came by early Saturday morning but left without coming down our street. We are guessing that he saw the huge mound of snow in the middle of the street from the sidewalk and people's cars and just left because he knew he wouldn't be able to do anything with it. Well, as of this posting, the plow has not yet returned. Here are some pictures of our neighborhood from Saturday morning.

I wanted to stick Nate on this mound as well and our neighbor even offered to let us borrow a sled but Brandon wasn't thrilled about the idea. =)

When the snow finally tapered off, we decided to take Nate out in the snow for the first time for some photos. Our kind neighbor Rich offered to take some pictures for us. Thanks so much Rich!
Here's Nate getting into his snowsuit
He's enjoying it so far...

Doesn't he look like a little ewok?
Back inside to thaw...
Yowza! That is a lot of snow!! Is Brandon going mountain-man like Mike and growing out that beard?? :-) You named your tree?!? Love the pictures - can't believe how big Nate looks in all the shots of the last 2 posts. Cute, cute, cute!
