Things That Make You Go HUH?

There are many things that I would categorize as Nate's favorite things right now. Some of those things include the usual baby toys such as...

mobile and swing

various rattles and toys

play mat

bouncer seat

and then this lamp....huh???

It's an inexpensive lamp that I purchased from Home Depot several years ago. We were planning on getting rid of it because Brandon and I didn't like it much and thought that a white halogen lamp would be better for Nate's room. We never found a halogen lamp (and I guess they don't make them anymore?) so we reluctantly decided to keep this one for the time being. Well, it turns out that Nate LOVES this lamp. He will often stare at it when he awakes from his nap or before he falls off to sleep. We've even noticed him chuckling at it. Since this blog is mainly about Nate for the time being, we thought we should have a blog post dedicated to his favorite lamp. Our guess is that he's attracted to the bright light but we're hoping and praying that Nate would someday be attracted all the more to the true light of the world, our Savior Jesus Christ!
