This post is VERY late - about a month and a half late to be exact but oh well! We have some catching up to do! As you can see in the picture, Nate is no longer being swaddled. When we saw that he was regularly breaking out of the swaddle - arms and legs - and was turning over in his swaddle, we decided to try yet again to break him of his swaddle. It took about a week and a half of unsettled naps, although he slept great at night after just a day or two of being unswaddled. He has grown quite a bit since this picture was taken so he can't fit quite as snug like that in his crib, but he does prefer to sleep on his side or tummy most of the time. He moves around and flips over in his sleep so much that Brandon and I are amazed that he doesn't wake himself up during the night.
As far as sleep is concerned, he dropped his third nap a month ago and is now sleeping about 11 to 12 hours at night. He still wakes up occasionally in the middle of the night but it's becoming less and less frequent. As much as I love sleep, I must admit that I miss seeing him sometimes! Crazy isn't it?
