Daddy Time!

Well, the holidays are over and Brandon’s been back at work on his regular schedule this week. It was certainly a blessing for him to be able to take much time off because Brandon is such a huge help to me when he’s around – everything from diaper changes, “male bonding” with Nate by burping him after feedings, watching “I Love Lucy” with me on the computer while I nurse at night, to helping me with just about anything around the house – he’s VERY missed when he’s not here. Thanks love! You’re the best!!!

Nathan misses daddy during the day as well. The other day when Brandon woke Nate up from his afternoon nap, he didn’t cry like he normally does but instead, he looked at Brandon and gave him the biggest smile and started cooing at him immediately. How sweet that was! Of course we didn’t have the camera or the camcorder on hand and when we tried it again later on that evening, it didn’t work out too well. Oh well, maybe next time!

Well, one of the favorite things Nathan likes to do is to have tummy time with daddy, especially after Brandon burps the little guy, and then coo and smile at Brandon on his lap. Here are some recent pictures of Nate and Daddy spending time together.
