We visited Grandma and Grandpa Kim in NY the first week of September. We switched Nate out of his infant carrier and into his convertible car seat and it made a huge difference on Nate's demeanor during the car ride. He played happily during his wake time and fell asleep with 5 minutes or less of whining for each of his naps. There was no crying or screaming for 30+ minutes like he had done during our trip to NC and GA. Wish we would've switched him earlier! Oh well! You live and learn!
As always, Grandma and Grandpa Kim went out of there way to prepare our favorite Korean food for us. Thanks SO much for the ways you seek to bless us like that every time we visit! We also got to spend time with some extended family and went to the beach for a few hours. It was Nate's first encounter with the beach and much to Brandon's disappointment, Nate was pretty scared of the ocean and sand. Oh well, maybe next year!?!? Here are some pictures from our recent visit.

| Don't think he liked it too much! |
| What about burying Nate's feet in the sand? |
| Nope, Nate didn't like that either! |
| Grandpa Kim has NO idea what is about to hit him |
| Surprised! But least he's having fun! |
| One more try...check out Nate's leg hook action! |
